The watermark is the catch
and for most pubs it doesn't matter

A free plan that never expires has to give something up somewhere. Ours gives up a corner of the screen. Here is exactly what that looks like, and the one situation where it stops being acceptable.

The Digisini mark sits in the bottom corner, roughly the size of a beer mat seen from across the room. It does not cover content, it does not flash, and it stays the same size whether the screen is a 32" behind the bar or a 55" in a window. Nobody ordering a pint has ever asked about it.

Where it starts to matter is when the screen is doing a job on behalf of someone else. Three cases come up again and again:

ScreenDoes the mark matter?
Specials board behind your own barNo. It reads as the software running it, the way a card machine has a logo.
Waiting room in a clinic or a letting agencyUsually not, but you are asking patients and clients to look at it for ten minutes rather than ten seconds.
A screen you sell advertising space onYes. The moment a third party pays for the slot, a logo that isn't theirs and isn't yours is a problem.

The second thing worth spelling out is what "one screen" counts as, because it is the limit people hit first and it is not the limit they expect. One screen means one display showing content at a time. Two televisions in the same room, showing the same thing, are two screens — they each need their own player and their own connection. A single television you unplug and carry between two rooms is one screen. If your plan is two TVs either side of a counter, the free plan will not do it, and no amount of scheduling gets around it.

The honest summary: the free plan is designed for one business, one screen, indefinitely. That is not a trap set to make you upgrade — a large number of the businesses running Digisini today are on it and will stay on it. It stops working the day you need a second display or the day someone else is paying for what's on it, and those are both good days.

Questions about
the free plan

Yes. There's no trial period or expiry date. The Free plan is genuinely free with no time limit. We don't ask for a credit card to create the account or to keep it active.
The Free plan includes 1 screen with a small Digisini watermark in the corner. Starter (€9/month) removes the watermark. Both plans include 1 active screen, unlimited playlists and email support.
Yes. Any time from your billing dashboard. The watermark disappears immediately and the price difference is automatically prorated on your first invoice.
If your TV has a web browser, yes. Compatible with Smart TV, Android TV, Fire Stick, Chromecast and any device with Chrome. No need to buy any extra hardware.
No limit on playlists or uploaded content. Only 1 active screen and the Digisini watermark. You can upload images and videos, schedule by time of day, and use templates exactly like on paid plans.
On the Free plan, Digisini may display its own promotional content on your screen during certain time slots as the trade-off for the free service. That's the difference with a paid plan: your content stays your content, but you share screen time with our promo blocks.
Yes, email support with standard response times. Paid plans add priority support with faster response and active incident resolution.
There is no trial period, no countdown and no card on file. We do not have a mechanism to switch an account off for being free too long. The account stays active as long as it is used; if a screen goes quiet for many months we may email to ask whether it is still needed, and the answer costs nothing.
No. Two displays are two screens even when the content is identical, because each one connects separately and each one is counted separately. If both are showing the same playlist you want Starter at €9 a month, which also removes the watermark.
They stay. Cancelling returns the account to the free plan rather than deleting it, so the content, the schedules and the screen pairing survive. What comes back is the one-screen limit and the corner mark.
