88 % pass rate,
live on the wall
Sarah, receptionist of Manchester Driving Centre, connects her Google Sheets of test results and the waiting-room screen shows "88% PASS RATE · last 30 days" front and centre. Next to it: DVSA test tomorrow 9:00, theory questions rotating with the answer after 8 s, today's instructor schedule. The passer-by who walks in becomes a pupil.

PASS RATE · LAST 30 DAYS
DVSA test tomorrow 9:00 · Room B · 5 pupils
What the waiting room shows
from day one
Pass rate, tomorrow's DVSA test, theory review, today's instructor schedule. Each screen with its own script.
Live pass rate
"88% PASS RATE · last 30 days" auto-computed from your Google Sheets of tests. Public vanity that converts passers-by into pupils, without hiring marketing.
Next test with countdown
"DVSA TEST TOMORROW 9:00 · Room B · 5 pupils: M.G., A.L., R.S., D.P., I.M." with countdown. Initials and partial licence for GDPR. Walk-ins know where to sit.
Theory review rotating 8 s
Theory question 8 s, correct answer highlighted 4 s, next. Pupils revise while waiting. Sarah adds the most-failed questions from the last DVSA paper.
Today's instructor schedule
"10:00 Carlos · Renault Clio · city circuit" · "11:00 Mary · VW Polo · motorway" · "12:00 Joseph · Yamaha 125 · manoeuvres". Each pupil knows the car and instructor.
Special courses and licences
ADI training, A2 motorcycle, B+E trailer, LGV C, PCV D, refresher 7 years. Per-licence promos ("Motorcycle pack £590"). Content rotates by month.
"Test rescheduled" override
"TEST RESCHEDULED DUE TO RAIN · Next date Tuesday 9:00 · Notify Sarah" — one button forces the message across all screens and silences scheduled content. Works even if the internet drops.
Waiting room €9 · 3 centres
from €19
Local driving school (1 waiting-room screen with pass rate + tomorrow's test): Starter €9/month. Mid-size school (waiting room + theory classroom with 8 s review + reception with courses): Pro €19. Multi-centre group (Manchester + Liverpool + Leeds with per-receptionist permissions): Network €199.

Where the screen goes
in the driving school
The window captures, the theory room passes and the test area organises. Each screen works at a different moment of the pupil's journey.
Front window
The street-level hook: "88% PASS RATE · last 30 days" and the motorcycle package or the car course with the next start date. The pass rate is the public vanity metric that converts best — the passer-by comparing schools stays with the one that shows its numbers.
Theory room
Theory questions rotating — question for 8 seconds, correct answer highlighted for 4, next — while pupils wait their turn. It is not filler: revising in the room lifts the theory pass rate, and every pass is a review and a pupil who recommends you.
Test waiting area
On test day, the countdown, the order of pupils (initials and partial ID, GDPR-friendly), the room and the instructor. One button forces a "test postponed — bad weather" notice across every screen at once, without calling anyone.
Reception and enrolment
The courses and licences with price and next start date: the theory and practical, motorcycle CBT, LGV, refresher lessons, Pass Plus. Whoever comes in to enquire sees the full offer without reception having to recite it.

The passes recruit,
the classroom theory passes
A driving school does not live on the one-off practical: it lives on the enrolments that pass rates bring and on the higher-margin courses.
Your pass rate is your best salesperson, and it is free. Pupils pick a school by word of mouth and by the numbers. Having "88% pass rate in the last 30 days" — worked out straight from your own spreadsheet — lit up in the window converts the person walking past comparing schools. It is public social proof, updated on its own, impossible to argue with.
Revising in the room lifts the pass rate, and that feeds back. The dead time of the waiting room becomes revision: theory questions rotating with the answer. More pupils pass first time, and every pass is a five-star review and a recommendation to a friend. The screen that improves your numbers is the same one that shows them off outside.
The higher-margin courses sell when they are seen. Motorcycle CBT, LGV, refresher lessons, Pass Plus are what carry the books, but the pupil who came for the car licence does not know you offer them unless you show them. Announced at reception with their start dates, the cross-sell happens on its own.
To be straight with you: we do not manage enrolments or the official tests. The pass rate comes from your own spreadsheet, not from a direct integration with your driving-school software (PDI, Smartdesk, Total Drive), which stays where it is. Digisini is the screen layer that recruits, revises and organises.
Passes the theory
and vanishes for three months
The cheap part is already spent; the margin is in the lessons, and those get decided on the day they pass.
The one who goes cold after the theory rarely comes back. Between passing the test and booking a first lesson there is a gap that life walks into: university exams, the summer, a new job. Two months later they cannot remember who they were meant to ring, and the clock on their theory pass is running. That student has not gone to another school: they simply stopped, and nobody noticed until the certificate needed renewing.
The day the whole group passes is the only day they are all in one room. They come out of that room having just passed, together, which happens exactly once. If the lesson packs, the prices and the slots still free this week are on the wall right then, it gets booked standing up. Three weeks later you are ringing them one at a time, and on the phone «I'll let you know» never fails.
And watching someone else move is what shifts the one who has stalled. A screen with this week's passes and tomorrow's free slots is not a vanity board: it is the signal that people get through here. The student who has not driven for a month and sees three new names every week books again — because what stopped them was neither the price nor the wanting, it was having no reason in front of them to do it today.
Straight with you: the screen does not run your diary or book lessons. Keep your software for that; Digisini is the layer that shows the free slot while the student is still standing there.
